About the performance
The performance is based on Russian spiritual poetry that explores themes of faith, love, and the search for light in darkness. The poems weave a story of the Divine image and naming, of solitude as a gift of contemplation, of tears opening gates to light, and of faith in times of spiritual decay. Word, music, and dance merge into a single artistic language, creating a vibrant image of the spiritual world.
Over 58 minutes, the performance reveals a journey through eschatological warnings and hope, through responsibility for each day of life, to the final cry: "I believe, my God, come to help my unbelief." The performers combine different forms of expression – from poetry through music to stage movement – in perfect harmony between body and soul.
